Mt. Gainor Inn is in Hays County, Texas between Dripping Springs and Wimberley. It is a short 30-minute drive southwest of Austin and 45-minute drive northwest of San Antonio. Take US 290 into Dripping Springs. Turn on Creek Road (across the street from Church of Christ) go 1 mile to the intersection of Roger Hanks and Creek Road. Turn left continuing on Creek Road and go 0.5 miles to a low water bridge, cross the bridge and continue 0.6 mile to the "Y" of Mt. Gainor Road (CR220) and Creek Road stay to the left on Mt Gainor Rd (CR220). (Do not cross creek a second time) Continue 2.1 miles to Prochnow Road (CR195). Turn right on Prochnow Road and the Inn will be 2.6 miles on the right.
